.....without hurting my baby azaleas. I live in Southeast Texas. I planted some baby azaleas on the side of my house. I pulled the weeds before planting and sprayed some weed killer but they came right back after the rain. How can I kill them without ruining my little azaleas?? They are mostly three leaf clover type and there are about three other kinds too...some look like lettuce with yellow flowers.
How do I get rid of these WEEDS?
corn gluten. This natural byproduct of corn meal
manufacturing is nature%26#039;s own weed-and-feed
treatment. It prevents seeds from sprouting by
drying out the tiny emerging plant. The moment a
seed cracks its sheath, zap, the corn gluten dries it
out.
Reply:Remove all roots of the weed.
Reply:You have no Idea what you are doing... do you?
That%26#039;s OK.... Just pull the weeds out and get as much of the root as possible..... are the lettuce looking weeds Dandelion? They have a long %26quot;tap root%26quot; and it needs to be removed, If you leave any in the ground the plant will come back as soon as the root re-grows.... So, remove the weeds as best you can by hand and mulch the area heavily. keep weeding if they come back and eventually the roots will exhaust themselves and no more weeds!
